Your mind is crowded right now, worries stacked on worries, each one calling for attention, none of them waiting their turn. This meditation makes a little room. You do not have to answer them all at once, or answer them at all tonight. Instead, breath by breath, you set each worry down on the ground beside you, gently, one at a time, until your arms are finally empty.
Best for: anyone with an overcrowded, anxious mind full of racing worries, who feels overwhelmed by everything pulling at them and needs to ease the mental clutter.
Use it when: your worries are stacked on top of each other and won't wait their turn, you feel mentally crowded and overwhelmed, or you need to lay down the load before you can rest or sleep.
How it helps: slow breaths release the body's bracing, then with each exhale you take one worry from the pile and let it rest on the ground beside you, not solved, just no longer carried. By the end your arms are empty, the crowding has eased into a clear, simple quiet, and you rest in the spacious calm that remains when the grip lets go.
