Somewhere in you right now there is a worry, vague and large, with no clear edges, and that vagueness is part of what makes it so heavy. This meditation does not push it away. It turns toward the feeling slowly, locates where it actually lives in the body, and gives it one honest, plain name. What gets named tends to loosen its grip, going from a vast fog to a single thing you can see.
Best for: anyone overwhelmed by anxiety that feels shapeless and everywhere, who wants a simple, proven way to make fear smaller and easier to live beside.
Use it when: a nameless worry sits heavy in your chest or stomach, anxiety feels vast and undefined, fear keeps you on edge in the dark, or you want a practical tool to calm yourself by facing the feeling honestly instead of fleeing it.
How it helps: by the end the feeling has a location and an honest name, paired with the breath so that each exhale loosens it a little more. The fog narrows to a single thing you can hold or set down, and you rest in the larger, calmer part of you that can look at fear without becoming it.
